Ours was the first
bakery in the "Big Bend" area of North Florida to have the
"Sweet Art" computer
for adding edible pictures to cakes and cookies. It
is a computer with a scanner that allows us to scan a photo you bring us
with no harm to your original photo (photos can also be e-mailed in JPEG
format). We can edit and re-size the scanned image up to an
8X10". The printer utilizes food color in a horizontal printer
that prints on icing for a totally edible finished product. It truly
must be seen to be appreciated. I have included a number of examples
here on this page, (click on photo for a larger view). Our system
allows us to add more than one picture to a cake as you will see as you
scroll down. We can also put pictures on the sides of cakes as a
couple of the pictures show. We can even add them to chocolate or
cream cheese icing and even whipped topping or sugar cookies. We can
add writing either by the computer, in a variety of fonts or with
icing. we can place the pictures at an angle or add figure piped
bodies or drawings as you will see below and we can even do children's art
work. There is a great number of possibilities to truly customize a
cake for birthday, graduation, retirement, anniversary, bridal or baby
shower. We are almost unlimited in what we can do, (we refuse to do

was for a new Daddy's first birthday after the birth of his twins.
The girl has a figure piped cheerleader under her picture and the boy has
a figure piped football player.

This was actually a wedding cake for a 2nd marriage for both the bride and
the groom. They each brought a pet into the marriage and thought
this would be a clever wedding cake.

is an excellent example of a collage of pictures throughout a persons
life. We also added a couple of clip arts of his hobbies on either
side of the writing. We can add either color or B/W pictures.
Note that it is also done on chocolate icing.

picture of the couple taken around the time of their marriage.
