Cakes for ladies have traditionally been flowered creations. Although most ladies do like flowery cakes, modern women today have wide ranging interests. The cakes pictured on this page are a few examples of the types of things we generally do for ladies birthday cakes though of course we are not limited to these shown. Not all of the ones pictured were originally done for ladies, but they would also be popular with some ladies.
 This
is the top view of one of our basket of flowers cakes. This one is
one we have on display in our shop. This was an 8"
version. They can be done with mums, violets and poinsettias
also.

 This
is a 1/4 sheet on a full sheet and would serve 125 servings. This
one is pictured with mums and daisies and drop flowers. This
customer requested no roses.

We have a local chapter of the "Red Hat Society"
that meets regularly in our restaurant. This cake was ordered for
one of their gatherings and was a huge hit.

Although this cake was ordered for a child's birthday we
have also done this for ladies.  We
call this design tropical hybiscus.

Although this cake was done for an anniversary this one
would also be popular with those ladies who like purple.

 This
is a side view of a basket of flowers cake. This particular one was
a 10" version with white sides. The pick and card are provided
with each of these type of cakes.

A lot of ladies love the beach and this one also has
tropical flowers around the sides.

This one was done for a teen but sometimes we get requests
to do frogs on a ladies cake as well.

 Lighthouses
are popular with both ladies and men and this one is a very popular
version that we do.

This colorful cake has a cruise ship sailing amidst tropical
islands with hula dancers and palms trees. Tropical flowers complete
the look.

This is an example of basketweave on a sheet cake.
Colors of course can vary in both basketweave and the flowers.

This is an example of a sheet cake for teachers.

This design called "Mom's Garden has some silk
hummingbirds on wires that can hover over icing flowers and butterflies
all hovering over icing flowers.

This and a round version are very popular with ladies.
These shells are hand molded and colored fondant
with brown sugar sand. Totally edible.

latticework and rose design would work as a birthday cake, anniversary or
bridal shower. Colors at your request.

colorful spring inspired design is a nice change from the regular rose
design. Can be bright or pastel colors.

This was done for a babies 1st birthday but could work
equally as well for a ladies birthday.

Fondant fall leaves flowing over this cake works well for
men or ladies with birthdays in the fall.

Shipping of cakes is not suggested at this time. Although we would love to ship a cake to you we have not yet found a shipper who will guarantee a shipped cake will arrive at it's destination in the same condition it left us in.
