Welcome to Myra Jean's Cakes website. Our business is both a bakery specializing in customized cakes for all occasions and a restaurant offering delicious food for the whole family. Our bakery bakes delicious cakes entirely from scratch on-site and will customize those cakes especially for you. Our restaurant/bakery has been a Wakulla County favorite for 24 years . In 2005 our business received the Wakulla County "Small Business Excellence Award" of which we are very proud (pictured at right).

We are located just south of Tallahassee, in the "Big Bend" part of the Florida panhandle. These maps below indicate our location in both the state and the local area. If you are driving from Tallahassee we are on Hwy 319, also known locally as Crawfordville Hwy. Leaving Capital Circle on the southside of Tallahassee we are about 20 minutes south on the left side, just after Winn Dixie and directly across from CVS Drug store. The street number is 2669 Crawfordville Hwy, Crawfordville. Coming from the south turn off hwy 98 onto hwy 319 towards Crawfordville. We will be north of the Courthouse, after Ace Hardware on the right, just before Winn Dixie.

With our website being viewed by visitors from all over the world we wish to make it clear that we are a small retail bakery serving only our local area. we would LOVE to be able to ship cakes and please customers all over but there is no guarantee that a shipped cake will reach it's destination in the same condition it left our bakery .

Due to changing economic conditions our bakery is now operating by special order or appointment only. We are still doing wedding and Groom's cakes and will continue to do birthday or other special occasion cakes but now operate on a very limited walk-in basis. You may order by these 4 methods.
1. Leave a message on our answering machine in the bakery and we will return your call for confirmation as soon as we are able.
2. Catch us between Wednesday and Saturday in the bakery.
3. E-mail us at the address at the bottom of this page. Please allow 24 hours or more but we will get back to you as soon as we can.
4. Fill out a self-order form at the order station we have set up in our restaurant.
In all 4 cases the order will be confirmed by return phone call or e-mail if not done in person
