aqual&peach seashellcake.jpg (779110 bytes) In our local area of the "Florida Big Bend" we are well known for our beautiful and delicious cakes and for our awesomedogwoodbutterflywdgck.JPG (797646 bytes) home-made style hamburgers.  Our restaurant is open 7 days a week serving breakfast lunch and dinner and specializing in family-type dining.    Breakfast is served every day but on weekends the restaurant also offers a breakfast bar from 8am-11am.  We are a family owned and operated business, open since 1985.  We have been pleasing families of Wakulla, Leon and Franklin Counties and surrounding areas for nearly 22 years now.  Our Restaurant also serves not only hamburgers and breakfast but sandwiches, including ruebens and grilled chicken pita's.   We also serve dinners which include country fried steak, hamburger steak plates, grilled chicken, chicken tenders  among some of the favorites.  We often feature a special of the day which may include home-made meatloaf, pot roast, spaghetti or grilled shrimp or grouper among other possibilities.  During the winter we often make home-made soup.  Ice cream is also a big specialty.  We serve banana splits, sundaes, REAL OLD FASHIONED MILKSHAKES and root beer floats and of course old fashioned ice cream cones.  Our restaurant has just finished some major renovations to the front/customer area.  We added ceramic tile flooring and have all newl new counters and an old-fashioned icecream counter for customers to sit at, we have totally re-painted and updated our look.

boy engineer.gif (240810 bytes) Several years ago we added a train to our restaurant decor.  We now have two trains which take turns traveling around the entire restaurant along a track located on the upper  walls. 2trqins.gif (237209 bytes) Children of all ages, enjoy watching these trains as they make the journey around the restaurant.  The favorite parts are when it crosses the bridge over the hallway and disappears into the office and  then again when it emerges from the office and travels around the front as it crosses the ice cream counter and register area.  There are a couple of pictures of the trains on this web page.  The little boy "engineer" pictured at left  is one of our customers who came dressed for watching the trains as he dined with his family.  We find that very often  the older members of our customer base often enjoy watching the trains as much as our young diners.  The Senior diners are usually reminiscing days of old when trains were much more common than they are today.  Our bakery was  the first bakery in north Florida to be able to put edible photos on cakes or cookies.  We make all of our cakes from scratch in our own "on site" bakery.  Myra Jean has been decorating cakes since 1967, which is almost 40 years!   Our bakery specializes in cakes of all kinds, including ice cream cakes, pies, cookies (including large "Cookie cakes" and brownies.
